  Uh, I don't get all these 5 star reviews. This book was very lacking in details. At the end suddenly it's all good between Hawk and Axe and Leslie and KiKi iwith no explanation on how that came to be. Last I had read Hawk was trying to kill Axe and KiKi then we skip forward and they are one big happy family??? I hate to hurt anyone's feelings but this book might as well have been written by a middle school student
• Kiedra, or KiKi, is a young human woman who had been raised by wolves. She left for college giving only a promise if someone from the pack called she would return. When she does it's to her adopted momma dying from cancer. She meets up with her childhood friend, Axe. As she becomes use to being with the pack again she meets up with the members she has never liked. Then the alpha position comes into contention when Roland, the alpha, decides to step down. Axe and Hawk, Roland's son, and several others agree to the contest for alpha. But another kink is thrown in---KiKi has inherited a lot of money and the winner may use that to finance the pack. Will KiKi and Axe be able to be together or will she have to give up her happiness to marry someone she doesn't love.
  Fantastic story that will bring tears to your eyes and cheering on the people involved in this story!!
• I wasn't to sure about this one in the beginning. I'm used to omega's being werewolf In nature but I found it not only interesting but also captivating. Kiedra is human by all accounts but you find out she is pack. The book opens with sad news then flashes from kiki's past. You meet mama who is sick. Axe our true hero, Roland the current alpha, his son hawk (Not so pleasant) and many other pack members. It's a journey of remembrance, love, anger, acceptance but in a different light. I recommend this book.

• I received this ARC and wanted to review. I believe this is the first book I’ve read and reviewed for J. l. Wilder. With that said, I’ll get all the boring stuff out. The editing was spot on. To me, nothing worse than having to edit while I’m reading and it not making sense. The characters are a lot of fun to follow. Their journey is full of ups and downs. Luckily, there is a HEA. The idea of being raised by wolves through me off. But I guess it’s kind of true. Kiera’s parents died and she was raised by Mamma, so happen to be part of a Wolf Pack of Shifters. Her childhood friend was Axe. When she left for college, she left it all behind. Now that Mamma is dying, she has been called home. Not just due to her Mammas death, but also due to a new Alpha being chosen and in need of their Omega. And guess what... yup. Read the book. It’s definitely worth the time. Lots of chuckles, romance, and true friendship.
• I will admit that this unusual yet intriguing wolf shifter romance caught my attention & kept it until the last page was turned. The story-line & plot is well-thought out and written with excellent suspenseful occurrences. The story-line is well-written & entertaining with complex characters that continued to develop throughout the story to become emotional strong individuals.
  There is wolf shifters, humans, a feisty human omega raised by the pack (Kiedra), her dying mother (Sylvia), a kind & fair alpha (Roland), her friend & wolf shifter (Axe), a controlling male wolf shifter (Hawk), twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, adventure, action, violence, threats, secrets, memories, grief, anger, verbal conflict, physical conflict, confrontations, legalities, devious plans, manipulations, deceit, unexpected surprises, contentment, love, some steam and a well-deserved happy conclusion.
  I really enjoyed reading this shifter romance & would recommend it.

• This is another great wolf shifter story. This is a story about a girl who was adopted into a wolf pack at the age of five and her new mother. As soon as she’s out of high school she moves away to go to college and forget completely about the pack until she’s called back home again. The story brings her back home to the pack and follows what happens after her mother’s death. There are great characters they are complex and interesting. I am always looking for stories by this author I am looking forward to the next adventure. I think that if you enjoy shift your books you should read the story I couldn’t put it down.
• Keidra went away to college and never came back. Five years later Mama called her back and it wasn't good news. She comes back to sadness and the same crap she dealt with as a child. Mama took her in at the age of 5 and always helped others jn the pack. Axe was the one who always protected her growing up and has never forgotten her. The current alpha Roland is stepping down. The contest for a new alpha will be held in a few days. How will it turn out? What secrets will be found out? I am leaving this review for having received the ARC but I do so gladly because this story ever surprising, with secrets all around. The story is unique and as the secrets unfold, it just keeps getting better and you can't read fast enough. The characters are relatable and you can see people you know in them. It is surprising how things change but also enjoyable. You will not be disappointed with this book it keeps you reading until the end and then you wish there was more. I highly recommend this book.
• This is a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. There's action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense, twist/turns, enemies, survival, intrigue, humor, mystery/secrets, surprises, lies, deceit, conflict, confusion, happiness, jealousy, sadness, friendship, family, romance, passion/lust and love.
  This story is about a young woman who was adopted after her parents died by a wolf pack.
  Can't wait to read the next book by this author. I voluntarily reviewed this book and this review is my own opinion.
